Status update! Tell me where  you are at on your product website? Can you be finished by tomorrow at the end of the hour? Do you need more time? How much more time? Be honest and explain yourself.

I am almost finished with my product website. I have pictures on all pages. I have started going back and typing some information on each page. I have about 4 or 5 of those done. I think I could be done by tomorrow at the end of class, but I'm not one hundred percent sure because I just remembered that I need a reference page.

Welcome back! How was your Spring Break? Tell me all about it. You've been out of school for 10 days so I know you will have plenty to share. Make it good!

It was fine. While my parents and brother went to Mexico, I stayed home the entire time. I watched a lot of Netflix, and finished a lot of Dexter. I also read Allegiant, which had a terrible ending. I baked a little bit. I hung out with people. That is about all I did over my spring break. I mainly just watched Dexter on Netflix. Yesterday, I watched all three High School Musicals that were on Disney. That's what I did over spring break.

Do you like the layout of this project? Have you benefited from your brainstorming sheet? Was it more helpful or annoying when starting to map out your website? Explain why.

I like the layout of this project. I have benefited from the brainstorming sheet. It was very helpful, because I had an idea of what I was going to do instead of just winging it like I usually do. I think it really benefited my website and made my index look good.

After reading below to see where you should be on your product website - are you caught up? What helps you stay caught up in class? Do you like having small checkpoints? Are you behind? If so, what are you going to do to get caught up? What you should have completed so far on your product website:Brainstorming packet Establish folder and website in Dreamweaver Wire frame the site with tables or div tags Create a header/logo in Photoshop Insert and design footer navigation and information Today you will: Begin inserting main content on to your index Think about what is going to keep someone interested on your site Tomorrow you will: Add a drop down menu to your site! You need have a designated placeholder for your drop down menu. Either a row of a column or a div tag.

I am basically caught up. The only thing I don't have is my footer, but after that I am done with my index page. Being able to have days to just work helps me keep caught up in this class. I like having small checkpoints, because they let me know that I'm on track. I have my header, my background, a wire frame and all of my picture and stuff on the index. I just need the footer.

I will a make it a really cool website for water sports stuff. I want it to have a photo on the main page that changes picture to different water sport pictures and stuff. I want to have pictures that can take you to a different page to look at different boards and skis and stuff.

What product have you decided to feature/sell on your product website? Explain why you've chosen this product and remember, the sky is the limit on this project!

I decided to sell water activity equipment. I chose this because there are a lot of supplies so it would be easy to create a fifteen page website with it. I also love the lake and all this stuff so I wanted to do that. There are a ton of cool skis and boards and tubes and stuff that could be used for the website.
